    ETKA diagrams for engine brackets?

I've been relying on the ETKA diagrams posted on other threads to put the breather and cooling systems back together, mostly posted up by UrS4boy (thanks!). They've been a major help.

I'm hoping someone may have similar diagrams to help me put the alternator & PAS mount on the intake side, and the A/C & snub mount bracket on the exhaust side. I'm scratching my head on this one, there's a few smaller bits other than the main bracket and I don't want to miss something out!

I'm so damn close, just need to get these bits built up, and I'm really close to cranking her for the first time. RR day is looming - I'm resigned to the fact I just won't get chance to put the miles on her for a run, but I'm perilously close to being in the Golf

Thanks guys - and I'll get registered so I can look these up myself then!

I think it's worth having these posted in case anyone else falls into the 'I've just put in a bare engine and don't know what I'm doing' camp, cheers Shane

Not logging but I find the system is there one day and not the next.. Also the Diagrams are poor...

I bought a full ETKA 7.3 & ELSA package from a guy in the UK who sells the on Ebay.de but not on .co.uk for £20.00 I think...

If anyone wants his email addy drop me a PM..

How up to date is that setup you got for £20? I got mine off ebay.co.uk a several years back but it only works to 2003. I attempted to get the version off the touareg forum but failed miserably to make it work.

I had a productive hour in the garage, matched most of the parts to the diagrams and installed the PAS pump. Getting ready for a blitz tomorrow morning

Pretty much everything is accounted for, but I have this little bracket hanging around and can't find the PN on the diagrams: 034-121-521-B

                Any ideas??

part 034-121-521-A is listed as a "bracket adapt with workshop equipment" for the range of cars but no diagram for it either.

                    The "B" part isn't listed.

That little fella is used to mount the end of the exhaust manifold heat shield, there is a small screw at the very front of the heat shield that goes into that metal clip. The curved bit on the right hand side supports the metal water pipe that is routed behind the timing belt cover. Its mounted with the bolt on the side of the engine holding the rear timing belt cover on.

                            Bracket of the Day

Thanks Mark, now fitted in the correct location

I have one final homeless bracket.. hoping it's something to do with the AC as that's the only auxillary part not fitted now

Edit to say, the crud all over it makes me believe it's PAS side

                            Any ideas??

And a quick progress shot... I think I've blown it for a dyno run but there's still a chance I could be there in the RS2.

Note I'm missing the bracket with the eyehole at the front of the engine, sure I can live without it but can't find it anywhere
