    034 aan coils onto aby

Hello, anyone done the swap onto an aby car? The terminals are different and there is one more wire in the terminals.

    everthing should be the same.

I think you are getting confused , the 3 block connector for power only uses 2 wires , just plug it in it will work. The AAN and ABY coil/POS have the same connectors.

Oops, I may indeed be a muppet! I will go out again and engage my brain before my typing fingers!! These coils certainly look the part, has anyone got anything to say about them? I just realised I compared the wiring to a full coil set still attached to the rocker plate in my workshop, forgetting the pos's get bypassed.

The 034 coils are at least as good as a new set of OE coils and POSs. That said, some of these coils have failed. They do have a warrantee with 034 but only to the original purchaser.

a bit odd having a 4 pin terminal block with 3 pins in that attach to a 4 pin block with 2 pins

They are very good, very powerful spark, people have run a 1000hp with them, I had one fail after 18 months but they replaced it free of charge, under there lifetime warranty. If you stay in touch with the person you bought them off that would be good as if you do get one that fails you could get them to send it back for a replacement, as said above the warranty is for the the person that bought them.

This is due to the fact that the factory POS are 3 channel, on our cars one only uses 2 and the other all 3 to give us five .
