    'lacking' boost

i had my car in the garage for its MOT and the rocker cover gasket change. so lots of the air intake has been removed and replaced. before it went in im pretty sure it was running at 21psi, where as now its only running 19psi, and it feels underpower. its still quick, but it just lacks the throw back factor when you stamp on it.
so im assuming for the moment theres a small leak in the air intake somewhere?!
are there any tricks to find these without taking it all apart and reassembling it all?
its an rs2 turbo and lags all the way to 3 k so by the time you would be able to hear a leak the engine is already making a racket as would the neighbours with the S2 sat on the drive revving!!

    any suggestions?

    Cheers

Try doing a search on here for "boost leak" or "leak test", "boost leak test" etc.

It's a very common thing and most likely the cause of your problems.

Have a good check by hand first to see if any connections on the pressure side are obviously loose/ill-fitted.

    Good luck.
