i have an audi s2 with rs2 engine, ported polished head, lancia valves, audi tt pistons, s4 intake monifold, nice home made exhaust manifold, 70mm exhaust system, large intercooler. i buoght 5.0 bar fuel pressure regulator. somebody says is not a good idea.
so. what you guys think? install or not?
thanks. there i a lots of info. but if i order a 5 bar 3l/min fuel pump and i have 5 bar fuel pressure regulator, when the boost going up to 1.5 bar,the regulator pushing around 6.2 bar. it is still going to kill the fuel pump. or not?
Mark is running a 5bar fpr and he must be getting close to 2 bar boost - I run a 4 bar fpr and 2 bar boost with the 5 bar pump from Bosch - I doubt I am ever getting to it's limit of flow though even at higher pressures.
