list of parts for 5-600 bhp?

Been thinking about doing a 20vt trackcar CQ.
What would it take to get an engine up to 500-600Bhp area?
I already have a good AAN lying around and a wagner stainless exhaust manifold and a set of aronmatic rods, which isnt much but it's a start.
would it have to be dry sumped?
    Any ideas would be great.

Loads of work - off the top of my head, look threads by 4wheeldrifter, epic, doug_rs2, rwd19t for stock engines and jamo, andyp and RWD19t for strokers. Not sure if will20v has a thread on his car here.

I'd go for a wrung out RS2 spec or slightly better, as that will get you c.400 and be more reliable as well as leaving some money to sort the suspension, wheels, tyres, seats, cage...

        fuel pump

wideband lambda is a good idea - zeitronix or innovate etc.

also headwork and cams. Not necessary to get bhp figures but you want a nice drive not just a dyno queen.

Everything fun takes lots of money
Picked up a 3b flywheel a while ago which I will have lightened.
I'm not worried about the costs, as I will be taking my time to build this car.
Thanks for the tips so far guys
