    Head Parts help please.

I'm finally getting round to putting the head back on my S6. I have the head gasket set but need bolts. I called GSF today and was told that they were dealer only. I don't want to cut corners at all but also don't want to be ripped off!! Does anyone know where i can get OE head bolts or a decent alternative?

Also to be on the safe side i want to change the toother bottom pulley with the key in it, is this dealer only?

    Thanks for your help guys!!

Pete @ quattro corner should be able to help with head bolts. Actually I may have a set here as I used ARPs in the end.

Personally if not using ARP's I would only buy my headbolts from main dealer. Yes they cost almost triple the price but they are of a different quality and like an ARP rep once said the Audi headbolts are the strongest OEM going before upgrading to ARP's. Yet due to their sheer length if running high boost figures over 400ponies they're reliability is still hit and miss.

I'm reading things about using different washers with them JP. Is this correct?

The bigger the washer the bigger the spread of the clamping load the less it digs into the ally and the less you will have to re torque them
