Many use divided housings with I5 engines and they work perfectly fine.

Yeah, I know, but the text says "ideal for cars that can't use twinscroll turbos". On a I5 engine you can use twinscroll(divided turbine housing) without problems. You only not get the benefit of the twinscroll housing geometry because you can't use a divided puls exhaust manifold.

I would thought that a twin scroll or divided flange would work better on a even cylinder engine 4 or 6
probably that's what he is referring to in the case of the i5

Says absolutely nothing about the turbos though.
I doubt the guys make their own, so what parts do they use? Garrett?

If the question is the price - a HX35 will easily provide you with upto 470hp for 690 EUR.
                    HX35 Super is 790 EUR.

KKK K26/K27 hybrids can be had for 580 or so I think...

It's a lot of audi i5 turbos here in Sweden who drives with turbobandit turbos, and it works fine,. Over 2,5 bar boost for multiple seasons.. I think they are a better option than the holset turbos. I know no one who has had problems with them.

The T3 non-divided turbine housing looks like a copy Garrett casting. Casting roughness is different though.

Look at the shape of the inlet, both scrolls aren't alike and i don't like the dents neither.

                          T60 line-up all use 76/65mm 12 blade turbines just like the HX40.
The CHRA looks familiair but i don't know what make it is, No Holset AFAIK.
The spherical bearing design is something i've have never seen before:
