3B Water pump

I have had a search through the old threads but I could do with some upto date information. Is it possible to get a water pump with metal blades still and secondly are they still only on exchange?

Also is the part number correct? 069 121 019 C

Hamish do you have the pace pulley for this? i cut my gears off i could have given it to you!

Yes I have the wider Pace pulley. Unfortunatly I managed to damage the plastic blades when I was putting the new pulley on. So I am needing another one and and I am trying to find out my options.

Are you running the pump with no impellers, and just relying on the stand alone pump?

Ok I have just phoned my local Audi parts and he said the part number is an old one. He said the waterpump has been dropped without replacement? Surely thats not right?

Try Pete at quattro Corner or GSF fand get a Febi one Hamish, they are OEM quality

That number comes up here as a 'gear carrier' and is indeed obsolete.

I have 034 121 004X for the 3B water pump - X of course designating exchange.

(Though if you ask Pete Reeve whether he wants the old one back, be prepared for a 'response'.)

Its strange that the part number is wrong because its taken from the pump itself?

I think I am going to use it and take the blades off and just rely on the electric water pump.
