    FMIC in bumper Coupe

    Hi friends,

I have a small question to do.

Anyone monted some FMIC in Coupe Quattro TYP89Q with original Bumper?

I´m converting my car to turbo but i like see all exterior original.

By now i will make intro 250 intro 300hp, so no need a bigger Intercooler. I will analise intake temperature!

I know that not easy but...

    Regards

No friends, i like my original look of front Coupe Quattro. Original bumper. I know that space is very bad but no S2 bumper.

What you think remove cooler of AC and aply Fmic to substitute?

Too far away from a proper flow of air for it to be worth it. You could modify the S2 IC to fit behind the OE bumper or even use a charge cooler but that seems a lot of work when there are plenty of parts available for little money that will do the job just fine. Whatever you use, make sure that there's an obvious path for the air to flow from the front of the car, otherwise, you'll not cool the IC very effectively and engine performance will be poor.

chargecooler would be neat, and perfect for that kind of power. Would make for a very punchy and responsive set up. Someone on here had one, i'm sure...can't remember who
