hi lads, after picking up my first S2 this weekend im looking over the car properly after getting it back 600 odd miles from aberdeen to south wales.

i have noticed a few problems on the car so far including diff whine and once i got the bonnet up and looked closely at things i noticed this on the metal pipe just under the brake fluid bottle


im wondering what this pipe is for and it certainly doesnt seem normal for a pipe to look like this. so if any of you have any idea and can tell me what its for and what it should look like and what sort of problem can it produce being like it is now i would be gratefull. now i have my first S2 i shall be picking lots of brains on here.

looks like the air conditioning pipe

looks like aircon to me but i am not familiar with RHD s2.

Is deffo aircon pipe - linking the evaporator outlet to the filter/drier that lives behind front right inner wing... en route back to the compressor if memory serves correctly.

Still available from the stealers,but brace yourself for the cost.Changed mine and it was over £100.00 from audi.
