Disel rods on 2.2t

There is few topics written on this matter, but none is giving the answer of the question does it working or no? Maybe right question is how much power you reckon or you know that they can handel? I'm asking because I have such rods already remanifactured and ready for installation and friend of mine has engine for rebuild any way so we are considering to give them a try. There is rumors for cars runing 500+hp on such rods

No wrist pin is 26mm too big and heavy for petrol use
Totally negates the point of having custom rods with it's weight

pin will stay 22mm the rods are remanifactured to feet 22mm pin as well they with no problem on the piston. Main question here is not how rather will it hold 500hp setup? Rood itself is more solid and bigger then standart one.

Also I know that some use rods from BMW 2.8i engine is this possible?

Why make work for your self buy some parts that are made for your engine and are ready to go.

Dont bother with the BMW stuff either.

Btw stock pin is 20mm iirc 22mm is an upgrade
