OK here is the definitive info from the ABY Motronic Manual Page 85. Unfortunately I don't know how to put the page on the thread so I will just post the relevant info:

If the voltage at Pin 46 of the ecu is greater than 2V then boost pressure control is active. Engine temp is 113C or less.
If the voltage at Pin 46 of the ecu is less than 2V then boost then boost pressure control in inactive. Engine temp is greater than 118C.

        Yep!
Thanks, thats very helpful. At least if people stumble across this thread they will know what to look for if they suspect the same problem.

Tommy how are you finding the car now in comparison to before when it was mechanically boosted? What peak boost are you getting now?

It's really great to see that this got sorted - it was heart breaking seeing the amount of work you'd done to get this car running right yet never having been able to get this resolved. Even with a new MTFS fitted previously, must be a dodgy input but sounds like Dmitri sorted that out.

It's nice to see heads come together and get some ideas to try, great when the forum works to a positive result, can't believe how much stuff was swapped on that driveway in 2 days - pretty much everything that bolts onto the engine and mostly by iphone LED light some real dedication to get it fixed by you and Hoffer, was impressed by that.
