  • Power Steering Pump Relocation

    I need to move the power steering pump to where the air con compressor used to be - this is to fit my AAN inlet manifold.

    Has anyone done this?
    S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8

    Use an Electrical Unit.

      yes. but is not so nice. i working on it.

        as you see, you dont have to relocate the PS pump. everybody did it like me here.

              iete hier ein speziellen Halter für Servopumpe und Lichtmaschine als Kit an. ( Halter, Lichtmaschine und Servopumpe ) Die Servopumpe und Lichtmaschine sitzen am Motorblock unten links und es ist damit möglich eine spezelles Saugrohr ( z.b. Sportquattro oder IMSA Saugrohr ) zu montieren welches mit der orginalen Servopumpen position am Zylinderkopf nicht möglich ist ! Wer also auf über 500PS umbaut und nicht auf die 08/15 Saugrohre umrüsten will kommt um diesen Halter inkl. Lima und Servopumpe nicht herum. Man beachte das die Lima anders gespannt ist als die orginalen S2/RS2 Diesen Kit verkaufe ich aus meinen Privatbesitz für FP 1500,- Euro + Porto.Gruß TomSchmalz

                you may use the servopump from vw passat with 2,0 liter 4syl from 88-93.its low mount......or the elektrick servo from volvo 440,460.480........ DO NOT USE THE RED OIL, dextron2 or so on.use the org green one.G 02000........!!!!

                  Recent VW polos have also a electric hydr. pump that should be ok. Don't know if anyone has tried it, tho.
