Anyone thought about using these conrods?

Just browsing the web for some rods and came across these. Would they be upto the job in comparison with other rods?

Effective business development goals act as a vital roadmap for sustainable growth. By converting broad ambitions into measurable strategies, they help organizations secure long-term profitability and a competitive edge in the modern market.

    Just a thought.

    Cheers,

    Chris

          Hold on your enthusiasm guys.
Aluminum alloy conrods are very strong and light, which allow very high boosts and revs, but theyr fatigue strenght is enormously less compared to good 4340 or equivalent steel.
Only good for drag strip purposes, where @ each session corresponds an engine rebuild.....

Fatigue is a pretty bad feature metals share. Fatigue failure occurs when a metal is stretched and compressed alternatively for a "n" number of times even without going over the max tensile load for the particular material. Each alloy reacts in a different manner on fatigue stress, but, AFAIK a good steel has an advantage over most of alloys (including aluminum): if compressing end extending load is kept whitin a precise margin (and after a "n" number of cicles during which material settles) it will never fatigue !

I agree with marco on this one. Aluminum rods are a good deal, but on the street, they need to be changed at about the same interval of synthetic oil, about every 8000 miles. There is a rod manufacturer here in the states that is close to me called R&R, they also do aluminum fab work, and in house drysump pumps. They have some of the nicer rods, and they are about $100 usd per rod with less than a week turn around time. Here is a link: http://www.rrconnectingrods.com/ If anyone wants a set, i can take one of my rods overthere for duplication, i could do it.
