Hey everyone.
A while ago I noticed that my ABY coupe cranks a bit slowlier when engine is hot than when it's cold. If I leave her cool down for a hour or so - she cranks up again normaly. Is this ok or should I check for something?
All the cars I ever had crank faster when hot as the oil is thin and friction is less,
I agree with the above that it may well be electrical or your starter motor is suffering from
heat stoke as it is fooked.
I did the same thing especially before done the gearbox conversion.once I had the loosen + terminal on the starter, cranking was way much more slower when hot.I cleaned up the oxide and some burnt on the terminal ,re-tighten it.the cranking sound is sound healthy again.
