Vagcom issues

Hey guys,

Finally got hold of a USB - OBD cable, and the 2x2 adaptor to connect vagom to my ABY coupe.

Intalled the latest software from Ross Tech including all the drivers etc. When i click 'options' and 'test' i get the message 'Ross-tech USB interface not found, Interface: not found'. This is whether I'm connected to the car or not, and i have selected USB and the port I want to connect through.

Anyone fancy walking me through it?

Windows 7 btw.

Orginal Ross-tech cable? China cables works only with VAG-COM v. 311.2 or v. 409.1.

Chinese ebay cable. I'll try 409.1 then. Thanks
