How are you measuring the oil pressure? With the gauge fitted to the car or with an external Bourdon gauge screwed into the sender hole?

OK. Classic decision point - is there something REALLY wrong with the engine or is it Audi's (crap) oil pressure monitoring circuits?

Next step is to get someone to attach a mechanical (Bourdon) gauge to the block and read the real oil pressure.
