any one know if these are any good for 450+hp or if they are not worth the risk?

with stuff like that, i always go with "you get what you pay for" and im sure for 450bhp, you dont want to be cutting corners. will just cost you more in the long run!

If they are Kolbenschmidt as the box suggests then they are good quality bearings.

It would be worth checking that you are actually receiving KS bearings. If so, they are fine. Get the part number from the seller to see if they are spatter type. Not sure how the price compares to other sources?

Its in the ballpark for a set of decent rod bearings, more expensive than the Glycos anyway. Might be worth getting them off a UK supplier so you have backup & comeback if they are incorrect, faulty etc. Just my 2c

I have a set of both mains and big end KS bearings coming up fo rsale soon, in 0.50 big end and 0.25 in mains that I bought from Pete at Quattro corner.I also have the crank which is ground to take them. These where for my rebuild.but Alered had a crank for sale that was standard, and had some work done on it,so I used that in stead.

hi guys i sent an email to the seller saying:

HI ARE THESE ROD BEARINGS GENUINE Kolbenschmidt OR COPY'S? ALSO ARE THE MAIN BEARINGS YOU HAVE GENUINE Kolbenschmidt?
                            thanks Ben

                            And got the response:

all of the bearins are Kolbenshmidt
