Fuel pump change to more efficient one

    Hi guys,

Please advice how to fix new fuel pump into housing. New one is shorter and has less diameter.

    Thanks!

You will need to either use a petrol/gasoline compatible rubber spacer or machine an aluminum spacer. Neoprene rubber *might* work (check out its compatibility with fuel). If that is a Walbro pump a) good luck and b) 034 might make a spacer to fit it into the 43 mm diameter basket.

I have an OEM Pierburg fuel filter for sale....it's OEM for the RS2, so could check if it's OEM for the S2 also if interested?

Thanks. What do you mean with good luck?

Some Walbros, have, well, "failed to function as required", to put it nicely.

If you machined that spacer/retention ring and the pump works better than stock, i.e. more flow and more pressure, you might have a market for making more.

I take it the second pump retention clip broke off your basket:
