Hi all, hope Mike won't mind me jumping on the end of this but i figure it wasn't worth starting another thread about it.

I'm in the process of doing the same conversion to a transporter and have a couple of wiring queries if I may.

i've found homes for all these wires, namely on to the fuel pump relay, am I right in thinking that the little feller on the left, br/y in the white block on it's own goes to the fuel pump?

I've traced the green/red wire, can't find the green/blue one on the ECU pinout diagrams though, any idea what it is and do either of them need to be connected to make the engine run?

I'm presuming these four are feeds to various gauges and dash lights, again, do any of them need to be connected for the first fire up?

    Many thanks

By the way, engine came from a 91 pre-immobiliser car if that makes a difference.

This is the engine mated to a Porsche 997 C2 six speed box
      Cheers

I'd buy a relay plate and just plug everything in.

I've been through the same process, had it running but it's a lot easier getting a relay plate, plugging in and running it as per Audi intended.

They're the same part as fitted to many Audi's of the time.

I don't have wiring diagrams to hand at present.
