Yes just feed it 12volts from a battery and it should run.
I would add that you could hook up a hose to the inlet side and place the hose in a big bucket (20 L pail) filled with water and then apply the power (pos and neg to the pins). (Neg where the brown wire connected to the pump in the engine harness).
