    Overboosting?

So I had this happen yesterday... floored it in 2nd, car climbed to 2.4bar gauge (which tends to read 0.05bar over) which provoked a slight boost cut back to about 2bar, and then it was normal. Again in 3rd, I was seeing 2.3bar gauge - no boost cut but monsterous torque, it bled boost off to a normal 1.8bar at 6000rpm. So, floored it in 4th and it pinged to 2.2bar gauge and felt smooth as ever.

The only thing I can think is that I had noticed my boost gauge slow to respond, though max was 2.1bar as per mapping. I found the hose from the back of the IM slightly kinked. I replaced it before the above 'test drive'... also it was 6deg outside, coldest I've had it in since mapping, wondered if that could account.

Since then, I am seeing 2.2bar solid in 2nd+ and the car feels completely normal - no miss, cut, pretty much as before.

Anything I should be concerned about or could this be explained by the ECU re-adapting now it has no delay in getting boost?

Temperature would make a difference unless this was disabled on the ECU from what i understand, but you really want to get yourself one of these zeitronix kits so you can just click a button and see what your peak values for AFR, lambda, boost and EGT are

          I don't think it's due to temps.
I think it is due to a problem with boost control.

Try cleaning the N75 with brake cleaner, make sure you do not have a tear in the diaphragm of the wastegate.
