Morning Guys
Quick question for you all
I have recently done my first timing belt change on my 3b.
On rebuilding the front end i noticed than when i refitted the power steering pump belt it appears to be out of line. I initially thought having looked through the timing belt change thread that the washer between the crank end and aux pulley was missing causing the pulley to be out of line. I stripped everything down again to recheck the pulley to crankshaft arrangement only to discover that this washer shown in the pictures on the timing belt change thread is actually not applicable to the 3B engine.
Can any other 3B owners confirm this please?
So if its not the bottom pulley thats out of line how can the power steering pump be the problem when all looks well in that area also? It certainly looks that the pump sits too far out but apperas to be located as it should be.
Any ideas much appreciated gents?
Regards
Gordon
