where is the fuel pump located on my 93 3b s2 coupe,i think my fuel pump has gone,where is the best place to buy one and does anyone know the part number,any help will be appreciated.regards john

in the carrier inside the fuel tank. -
Its Inside the tank, under the cover and carpet in the boot.
New one from bosch dealer, or audi.
Good used one from a breaker, try "spink" on here, bet hes got loads.

Its in the main fuse box under the windscreen, drivers side. Cant remember number but its grey and has a space for a fuse in the top, if you stick a 10A fuse in there i think the fuel pump should run with the ignition on.

loosen one of the fuel lines touch the contacts together on the relay, fuel should p!ss out, meaning the pump is sending fuel through! away from any naked flames obviously.''I'm 999 thou' short of a mill!''Comment

The fuel pump relay is in the centre of the bottom row in the main fuse-bow, it's Grey in colour numbered 208. The 3B one does NOT have the slot for a fuse, pretty sure that's only on K jet cars.
I've got a few good spare pumps, if your after a cheap fix drop me a PM.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
