Some of the Cnc heads are works of art.

I know a few people who use this firm :

Lots of money but worth it if their proven

They also grinded the end of the valve guides, I see that quite often but doesn't that influence the stability of the valves hitting the valve bed resulting in more wear in the guide?

If you look closely at the port you can see that the valve is fully supported up to
the wasted/ cut back part of the valve stem.
Sometimes it looks as though the guides have been cut right back but
it is likely that the port was welded up before being reshaped .
This gives the impression that the valve guide is shorter than normal but in fact the port has more material around the guide.

Lol such nice work and still incorrect port design. Only needs some minor tweaks but it's the small things in life that make all the difference.
I like to think it is because they are using a cnc machine, as there are areas you just can't reshape like you can with hand as you have to accommodate casting flaws between heads.

Prime example is picture 6 on the RS4 intake. Unfortunately creating turbulence so close to the valve is problematic in two ways 1st it requires more engine rpm before you make power and 2nd you will restrict top end power. Yes it's still better than stock but not as good as it can be.

@ Jeltuh, They've actually installed longer than stock guides in order to make sure the intake sits flush to the port so stability is not an issue.
