Another giveaway for a stock aby map is if you floor it at low speed in third the boost will climb high and peak briefly then settle back down to around 1 bar as you accelerate. Like a temporary overboost to give you a shove to get you moving.

On a chipped car the boost will come on and peak and stay there and tail off slightly as you near top rpms.

        Hello all ok,

        I have been busy..

The switch i had disconnected i connected the wires back up, I disconnected the N75 as this is how it was prior to me messing with the switch, when the car wouldn't start

And...... Voila the car is romping, pulls alot stronger through the range of gears, and 1st gear is quite swift now aswell! I don't know what the boost is like as I don't have a gauge/don't like the look of them as add ons TBH!

But yes the N75 disconnected and switch wires connected have made all re difference and save me a couple of hundred pound On a chipped ecu!

Christophski, let me know how yours goes!

          Quattrofever,

On a chipped car the boost will come on and peak and stay there and tail off slightly as you near top rpms. This is exactly what happens now! And before it would and come back off

Only problem I have now is I keep running out of road! I'm sure I'm not the only one tho!

Sorry I just read mikess2 post ok so that makes sense.. So what sort of extra bhp is achieved with this method, and is it healthy for the car or not recommended?

The fact that the N75 is disconnected would indicate to me that it's all been messed with somewhat... I'd be tempted to find out exactly what had been done and either stick it to a safer setup or put it back to stock and get it all working as it should.

                  Rusty,

I think it's what mike said it's been bypassed? A common superchips practice?

Yes but you usually have a large, unsightly bolt sticking out of the top of the wastegate cap as well.
