I had this issue a few years ago,it turned out to be the TPS.Changed it for a used one includeing the hole throttle body, fixed my problem, but there are other things that can cause this such as the things that cause lean mixture, such as poor fuel supply, pump, fuel filter, blocked cats, etc.
you need to start by checking these things one by one, start with the TPS,there is alot of info one hear,do a search

I'm amazed it can get that hot at idle, never seen a downpipe that hot. Is the engine standard or have you changed chips or injectors?

engine is 3b with small modifications. before the overhaul, he was perfectly correct. I'm sure something did not install well. I do not know what?

To much fuel or spark timing to late, can be anything from, lambda to MAF, ECU.

Is it possible to get the distributor wrong in 3b, so the timing is out..?

I think you *might* have the answer there.

Here is some cam (and crank) timing info:

Last night I checked the cables and spark plugs. All are correct. timing is OK. motor works great. exhaust turns red when the transmission in neutral, and I keep in throttle 3000 rpm more than 1 minute. We apologize for not immediately explained. This is because of my poor English.

Could that be because 7A exhaust cam?
