    Very poor oil pressure

I know this has been covered a lot so sorry in advance, Used to have 2bar on idle 5bar under load. Now it is dropping as low as 0.5 on idle but still giving 5 under load. Seems to have a problem building pressure when first started too.

    Any ideas?

First thing i would do is swap out the pressure sender, the reading slowly drops before they die.

As above,I had this on my new build, very worrying with a new sender. checked it with a gauge, and the oil pressure was first class.Changed the sender and the oil pressure is spot on.

Cheers for the help guys, it had a new sender not long back, does have slight oil leak nothing too dramatic, Will get the pressure checked out with a proper gauge change oil and put original Audi filter on fingers crossed.

Well if the oil isn't disappearing, that's a good sign. Like people say, could be sender or also maybe a lazy getting pump but I think its rare they go.
