Just been looking in the engine bay thread and was wondering why some of the wastegates are running a vac hose to the WG and some are not ?

Depends on your method of boost control. The std set up does not require a connection to the top of the wastegate ( usually the first question a noob asks! ) if you use an aftermarket boost controller, then they usually do require a line to the top chamber.sigpic
