Here is a list of calculators that might be interesting:

Calculating peak hp from quartermile data, and especially trap speed can be pretty accurate. However, dual clutch gearboxes like the one in the R35 GTR throw them off. That is why the GTR was rumored to be severely underrated when it came out. What folks forgot about was the fact that these boxes let the engine stay on power/boost constantly. Not being interrupted by 3-4 time and boost wasting gear changes made a big difference.

If you have speed or rpm vs. time logs from either the standalone, GPS or accelerometers, I can run the data through the Virtual Dyno and get some curves for comparison with your dyno curves. Need FD and gear ratios used, along with tire size and vehicle weight. (Must be from runs with traction, as wheel spin will send the numbers skywards )

Rototest got a nice database, only too bad that it is rarely updated. they got some very good technical papers listed as well.
Note that these data are from a hub dyno, which will see much lower losses than a rolling road. The losses from a hub dyno can be expressed rather accurately as a percentage, unlike rolling roads where it is a combination of static loss and percentage of input power.

Hubdyno's are great, they take out the biggest variables out the total equation. Too bad the Rototest ones are noisy as h3ll and aren't capable of powering the vehicle to determine actual drivetrain & engine losses.

And as mentioned before in this discussion, i agree that a dyno is a perfect tool to measure actual gains (or losses) in performance but not accurate enough to compare between events or sites, let alone discuss about differences percentage-wise.

wow i get all different types of results using just one timeslip for each calc.....

here is the timeslip i used, thats what i ran. so which is correct? and noe of these have AWD as a factor? i could see these calcs having some merit if they were relatively close... but they arent. only one came up what i run for ET vs Speed, and that said 580.5 hp. i input weight (2850) and speed (141), it calculated my exact ET of 9.90.

so which one is right? which one closest??
