Anyone dyno'd a gt3071. any curves?

Looking on upping the boost on stock rods. 1.8 bar in the mid- high range approx 4500- 6500 so far. Dare i go higher?

My old GT3071R / 0.63AR setup. stock cyl head and stock ABY cams. with 1.8 bar till redline. My tuner limited the max torque to save the standard organic RS2 clutch from slipping

and a similar setup from a fellow Dutch S2-power forum member using high-boost 034MS chipset and a flowed cyl head with ABY cams.
1.8 bar overboost tapering off to 1.6 bar redline

Bram and why yours tappering 1.8bar redline is only 424Hp and my 80 competition is supposed around 570Hp with 1.9bar / 7000rpm ? only 0.1bar makes this difference-?

do you have a 3071 turbo? Pressure is one thing flow and effectiveness is another.

Yes maybe I got colder intake temp as the turbo is bigger... And the head worked...

So mechanical 0.4 bar wastegate boost is more powerful if you have fitted a 3076 over a k24 7000?

In general at high boost/rpm: Lower pumping losses (from lower backpressure), higher efficency (as seen on map) and lower IAT.

At very low boost, like wastegate boost, a smaller turbo will often be more efficient.

Remember that is with the .82 hotside not the .63 commonly used

Tomas, don't compare a stock engine with a race engine with CNC ported head and high lift cams for 10 000+ EUR.

The way your PKM engine breathes, is evident from LOAD logs (get same LOAD as with a stock head at 2.7 bar with only 2.2 bar), and the fact that it pretty much maxes 630cc injectors.
