Turbo Options

Hi,


I know this is an S2 forum but I currently run a B5 S4, and with a new job looming, I won't be using the car as much as I do now, so I can start on big jobs

I'm buying things as I go but my main question would be what turbo's do you guys think I should look out for..

Many people over on AudiSRS.com go for K04's, RS6's or go to Loba for a pair. I want to be different and I first thought about going for the K24 7200 from the S2..

Then I started looking at the Volvo K24 7400.. Then Newer Volvo BW from the V70 and then the Ford Focus RS (Volvo Engine)

Then I started going crazy and thought about Garretts and Holsets!


What do you guys think..?

I want to achieve around 500hp (with room for more if I build the engine) but want a tasty bargain in the process, which made me think of buying single turbos as and when they turn up and getting a matching pair..

Modding parts to fit wont be too much of a worry, but i'd like to get everything done in one go..

I'd like some of the turbo guru's to give me a couple if ideas, as they'll probably know more about spool up and what would and would'nt work on my engine

Ko4/K06 hybrids be best route, twin garretts 2871 or 2876 have been done but that is going to cost you a lot of money!

I had a volvo k24 7400 in my inline 5, I put down more hp then a b7 rs4 on the same dyno same day, I also put down 100 wheel torque more them him too...
