    AAN Turbocharger options?

I have a stock KKK24 turbo on the engine now and was wondering if there is any other upgrade available without making loads of other changes?
i.e. jst a straight turbocharger swapout?

Not too bothered about extra power just yet, I just wanted to make it more reliable with the stage II re-map and the extra boost it's running at.

    Thanks

If you are only going for a remap with an 3.0 Bar Map sensor and maybe bigger injectors, the K24-7000 will be fine at 22 psi (1.5 Bar). Even if it dies, K24-7000s are typically available cheap as chips used.

Otherwise, with the K26 hot-side mounting flange on an OE RS2 manifold (or STR or Wagner RS2 Evo) you can go RS2 K24-7200 or, with some work, K24-7400 Volvo turbo. The RS2 turbo is totally plug and play, including oil and water lines and is the easiest (but not the cheapest) alternative.

The stock turbo is not really able to max out the stock injectors.
But sticking a bigger turbo on pretty much instantly will.

You could fit some sort of hybrid K24, some injectors and a custom remap.
Also, there are no reliability issues with the K24-7000 turbo. It can take huge amounts of abuse, don't worry about it.
