1. Pull fault codes.
2. Get rid of cone filter and fit stock airbox. Cone filter on stock MAF will make your car use more fuel and will reduce performance.

Will try that , car runs fine hot or cold

My car seemed to run fine unit i upgraded to RS2 Hybrid spec 3b. Started ok when cold and drove ok until it started to get warn then black smoke & wouldn't tick over.

Assuming you’ve cured it, what was the cause of the fault ?

If one doesn’t have Vag - com, what ohms reading should one be looking for with the big brown MFTS, and also the smaller two pin white one.

Not had time to look at it yet , she runs sweet as a nut hot or cold just rich with poor fuel consumption
