oh ....so its going to be a little awkward job. Do i need any special tool to remove the pins, also ref you post on pin swap which is the correct one to go off ? Think there was some adjustments, may need to read the thread again (getting wrong off my other half for being on here!)

it is very easy job to do.. (I did it on 4 cars).
if you will need some advice just ask !
take the pin out (which have to be out) , mark them with numbers. you also need 5 more wires for coils. and one wire for VSS . than use somebody who will read you numbers. for example :
          1 to 6
          5 to 4
          36 to 46
don't turn head away from wires.
VSS signal you will find on air condition conector
when you will done , don't vory , because 2 wires from 3b loom will stay out. it is normal because ABY ecu don't need them .

I now see where the 12 beers come in ref to Rocco's suggestion, going to have to temp someone to read the numbers

What tool do i need to remove the pins, any pics ?

Page 8 on the sticky for Pin Swap is the correct pdf ?

The 4 wires not used can be used for coils, maybe best to pull through new wires ?

2dl of STOCH is perfect for pin swap
use new wires directly to new coils.. use +'12V and ground from old coils for new coils . than it stay on old fuse.
ECU plastic conector is made by 3 pice. like sandwich , this tiny piece of plactic in the midle have to be broken. it is almost impossible to save them and take few wires out. only if you take all wires.
crush them with sizers for wires.
this white conector have black plastic cover which have metal locking spring. I cut them on half that I can take all wires out. it will be much easyer to work if you do this.
last one PDF file is 100 % ok.
maybe I can do new thread "DIY PIN SWAP 3B to AAN .

this is tool which I use to take wires out from conector.

I put them in the whole in plastic conector , oposite side of wires, ank kick the plastic , than little ears of pin can pass out.
