it fit, i had to clock the compressor a bit to make it work but it bolted on fine and had zero leaks.

PRJ, in regards to wishful thinking on the hp numbers have you dyno'd one? how many dyno readings have you seen from one? do you know if that car had any leaks or clogged cats or who knows what? what dyno was it on? what is the elevation there? I personally think there needs to be more people running a turbo before you can guess how much power it can or can't make.

370hp was based on what I thought Ruffiano's made.... without referencing the graphs perhaps that is optimistic... you should have kept your S6 so you could get figures on it now...

The K26/7 I was referring to for 500hp may have been a K26/7/9. Richard talked about making one, using a huge comp wheel (not sure what it was from).... I went with the current one which as you know, pulls like a train in the midrange

Jeffer made 530 bhp on Mihnea tuning on a K27/9 not sure the K26 variant would make as much

I don't need to dyno it, to realize, that it will flow less than a RS2 turbo from just looking at them next to one another (which I have done).

Whatever, this HP stuff is not as interesting, because a lot depends on the actual weight of the car.
Example - ADU engine on a UrQ does 3.1 seconds FATS, while the same engine on a RS2 does 3.5 seconds on a good day.

I wish I could have tried that turbo on my car, but I guess things just went differently.
Funny enough, it is still sitting in my apartment, as the person who bought it off me hasn't bothered to pick it up for over half a year :/

Yeah, but your compressor is also maxed. I don't think you'd gain much besides lag if you went with a bigger hotside... Some timing, but nothing else.
And I am sure there is a K27 compressor big enough, but I think it would need a bigger housing as well, and wouldn't fit anymore with a #8...

With a 3b you must change the head gasket to a metal one before tuning

Would it be worth installing apr head bolts while the cam cover is off? Also what turbo?

                        Those are NLA.

ARP washers are too small, they sink in the alu head. I have done 24x4mm washers for the ARP's. Max size you can fit is 25mm.
