    BIN Files

I wish to archive some of the various chips I have.
I have borrowed a reader but to be honest I am not particularly confident about doing it sucessfully.
As there would be little point in archiving incorrectly, is anyone able to verify that I have read a sample file correctly?
    Thanks!

    Hi Robin,

If you send them over to me I'll open them and blow a copy for you. You could check the copy is ok then.

      Steve,

Thanks for the offer, but I was really just wanting to see if I have the process correct!

          Boost/knock chip is a 87c257, fuel/ign chip a 27c512.
I hope you have a decent reader, not one of those that attach to LPT port, and then Windows polls for printer and kills 0x0000...

Send me a set you read and I'll tell you if you're doing it right...
