    Turbo difference of UrS6

What difference would a K26/27 turbo provide over stock turbo of a UrS6 AAN?
To power / torque / fuelling / economy etc?
Would it need to be remapped? Any other modifications required. Jets etc.
I'd prefer it to be just plug and play, to start with at least. Would would be the presenting issues if i did that?
    Cheers
    Mitch.

More like plug and LAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGG. Even with remapping.

There are better turbos for the AAN than that, e.g. 2871, 3071 hybrids from 034 are two examples (both need bigger injectors and remapping).

I have MD147 K26/K27 fitted on mine. There is more that could be done, with this setup my exhaust past downpipe was sub optimal. 330-350hp is normally what is shown on RR, but you can see the power curve which is the more interesting bit

If you learn to drive, it's not a problem, even in the city.
I don't know what you ever drove with a K26/K27, but it's like 200-300 rpm difference from a RS2 turbo in 3rd gear full boost wise.

The MD147 is a horrible turbo using ancient parts. Laggier than a proper K26/K27 and much less power.
It in no way shows how more modern units behave. Full boost in 3rd is 3800 rpm vs. 3500-3600 on RS2 turbo. Power is 80hp more than a RS2 turbo.

          On topic:
You will need an uprated fuel pump, bigger injectors, better exhaust manifold and a remap. Forget fitting the turbo alone.
If you do all this, it will be very nice though, had the setup on my UrS6.

Which means driving around in a lower gear than normal. Nah. No thanks.

No, it means paying attention and downshifting when needed?
Really, as long as you can hit 1st->2nd behind some lights, it's good.

I do not drive a RS2 turbo car differently than a K26/K27 car at all. Pretty much the same gears. It's first if you want to go anywhere in town anyway, they're both too laggy in 2nd.

I personally drive around in 5th on my RS4 around town, and if I need to go anywhere fast I drop to 2nd and floor it. Exactly the same as I did on my K26/K27 powered UrS6.
