    S2 idle problems

    Hi guys,

Been suffering with idle problems for a while now on my ABY coupe. At times the engine tries to cut out when pulling up at a junction, and this video shows what the idle was like when i pulled up on my drive the other night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMrjv...Wa5smOyqVpJv4=
I wasn't touching the throttle at all in the above video.

It seems like an ISV problem from what i can see. What do you guys think? I did a boost leeakage test a while back and performed the Mark H mod. Ive also had the ISV off and cleaned it out. Ive read the fault codes aswell but the print-off is at work so I'll bring it home tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone has suffered similar symptoms?

Either a still dirty ISV or you have an air leak (vacuum) that the ECU is trying to get the ISV to control. But that annoying cycling up and down goes on too long. You might have a connection problem and/or a vacuum leak.

Here is some ISV info: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/21853.phtml

      Sticky ISV or vacuum leak.
Clean ISV with brake cleaner and pressurize the intake and remove any vacuum leaks.

      This will solve your problem.
