Cam Timing for best low end

    Hi,

I have an Audi quattro 1984, converted to RWD which I use in Drifting competitions, whit a AAN stock internal engine, but whit 630cc injectors, DTA s80 ecu, precission 5858 .82A/R turbo and 7A camshafts whit adjustable gears.

The question is which settings are best for the camshafts, so that the lag be as small.

Someone taught me that the, in and ex valves to be opened 0.5mm at TDC.

Maybe someone knows a better setting?

Now the turbo start to spool at 3700rpm and full boost is reached about 4400 rpm

Remove the 7A cams and replace them with stock AAN cams

If you stick with 7A cams read all of this thread http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1477
