10w50 Fuuly Synth - Best Oil for fast RS2 450hp Driving

I am about to do an oil change ready for the summer and also a trip to the Nurburgring.

Is the 10w50 the best stuff?

I have been using 5w30 for a while now.

My car has a MTM Hybrid KKK Turbo, MTM Turbo Pipework, Larger Intercooler, MTM Remap, Full Manifold inc Downpipe 3" De-Cat Bespoke AAS Exhaust System etc etc.

    Thoughts anyone?

It depends on what oil temperatures you see with your usage.

10w-50 is recommended by Oilman for on track use with oil temps around 130 and even up to 150. Best to change your oil shortly after spending much time at higher temps.
ie: when you get back home from your ring trip or other track day.

would give some additional protection over 10w-40 and is not anywhere near as thick as the 10w-60 so should be good. what hot temps/idle oil pressures are you seeing currently. I used 10w-60 on a 180k+ miles homefired car and the hot idle was bang on 2bar and temps never north of 130, even round the ring in the summer...
