Just had turbo repaired but I now have a mis-fire that has been diagnosed as a faulty ignition module (Part numbers: Bosch-0227 100 209 or Audi-4A0 905 351A. Anyone got one for sale as we are having great trouble in locating one.

Just went through the same thing on my 1994 UrS4, got a new module direct from Bosch for £122 through my local Autoparts. Managed to keep it running until the new one arrived by swapping wires in the connectors and utilising the spare channel on the module that only feeds cylinders 4&5 as per the following SJM link.Originally posted by ettamogaJust had turbo repaired but I now have a mis-fire that has been diagnosed as a faulty ignition module (Part numbers: Bosch-0227 100 209 or Audi-4A0 905 351A. The info on here is amazing, well worth a look.

you may have LOW volt at the alternatorOriginally posted by ettamogaJust had turbo repaired but I now have a mis-fire that has been diagnosed as a faulty ignition module (Part numbers: Bosch-0227 100 209 or Audi-4A0 905 351A. Anyone got one for sale as we are having great trouble in locating one.
then the the low volt, leads to hi amp, then you killed the ignition, and so on
....check the reg in alternator,or ingition SVITCH.......the volt have to be 14,4
.....with light and fan on at 2000rpm: I use 14,8-15.0v.....
you may read it from the batt, the acid weight shud be 1,275-1,28..........
