    996 GT3 MAF on an RS2?

Probability a silly question but has anyone tried a 996 GT3 MAF on a RS2? And if so did it work?
It looks the same and the part number is 996 606 124 95

Seems to be the same as the RS2 one.

I wonder if and how it would run if I put it on. Would it do any damage or would it just run crap?
Ive read on here that some people have put VR6 MAF's on there S2's.
And my research tells me that an RS2 MAF is the same as a Porsche 968 unit.
