    Fitting Mechanical Boost Gauge

I'm going to fit a mechanical (capillary tube) boost gauge to my RS2 and I can't find a sensible way through the bulkhead to the drivers side windscreen pillar. Any ideas? They also haven't supplied a T-Piece... where the heck can I get that?

The sooner all this stuff goes wireless the better!
    Cheers,

You just take the tube from the ECU and route it over to the A pillar. T pieces can be bought from halfords etc. They are listed as for use with windscreen washers, but these are perfect for a boost gauge. I can show you where to look when you pick your car up

Also Demon Tweeks do a fitting kit which will set you back about £7.00. Tap it into the pipe running from/to the ECU. Everyone I know does it that way, easier.

Yep, I used the pipe to the ECU, behind the glove box - dead easy took about 20mins to do.

Cheers Tom. If the guage housing arrives from Demon Tweeks maybe we can fit it? Can you send me a PM with an approximate guess on the final bill please!

Will do Chas. Dad is out at the moment so i cant ask him. I spoke to VAGparts and i 'should' get your bits on Tuesday. So we can get it all sorted before the hire car needs to go back.
