Mapping/Chipping/034 Rip chip?????

Right first of all i will say sorry as this has prob come up a million times but i cant get my head round it all,

After a long up hill struggle i have got my avant back up and running,

Long stort run short, had a loads of probs with wiring loom, had omex stand alone put on and after £2500 later she still did not run and with no awnsers,
So i have made the desision and put her back on a factory lom and ecu and finally got her back up and running and throu her MOT.

Time has come to have it mapped chipped ect ect

who and where is the best to have it done?

i called MRC today and i can have it done there but what he was asking for i fell over, (sorry i know you would do a s%$h hot job but i have spent far to much as it is and i cant spent that on it just for mapping)

034 rip chip, all the ppl i have asked cant tell me a thing about it, i know it does no have data log ect ect but over all what is it like???? any one got one and can tell me form first hand and not just by looking at the softwear and saying it is crap,

PRJ does live maps for a not unreasonable fee, Automark is about £400.

You need a custom map for sure so it's viper, MRC or prj when he is in the country.

Have a word with prj on here. He's going to be in at albans area towards back end of may for mapping. Good work for a decent price.

You did not mention what kind of injectors you have, also "K27" does sadly not say a lot.
Can be 350 hp, can be 500+, it really depends.

i am std injectors at the mo, i have a set of bosch greens on the shelf, but if not big enouth i will get bigger,

the K27 was built by mt turbo man, all i know is that the compressor housing and core if off a merc lorry, lol

i will have a look for a spec of the turbo

Does not say too much sadly. Would be really good to get an idea on the wheel sizes, and also what is stamped on the hotside.
Although if it's all fitted up, then that's not really an option.

Obviously we could always go "let's see what it makes" route...
Your engine sounds up to spec, the bosch greens will limit you to about 450hp at 4 bar fuel pressure. I have no idea if the turbo will support that amount of power though, so I can't say if they will be too small or not.

Probably will find out during mapping.

I will get the wheel sizes when i next go to my workshop
my turbo builder said it will happy flow 2.5bar and 600bhp with ease

what injectors would you recommend???? Looking for going around the 550-600bhp mark.
