I have stock pistons that are machined down so that the top is flat, no dish left. This lowers CR to about 8.7:1. There is a 600bhp S2 that uses the same pistons as that inside his engine and has done for over 4 years, so i quess that is a cheap/good option. Cost me £50 to have them skimmed.sigpic
