RS2 setup in URquattro - performances?

    Hi everybody,

I was wondering, what performances (0-60mph and 1/4 mile) could have URquattro with full RS2 setup and approximately 350-360HP with stock 016 tranny?

Mine is not an RS2 set up so I can't be that precise...

However, you should see 0-60 in circa 4.3 to 4.5 seconds (the 016 needs 3rd gear for 60 hence it adds circa half a second to your times)

As for quarter of a mile times, I would think about 11.5 ish.

      Hope it helps...

      Darren.

Thanks, huh, I thought that it won't be that fast on 1/4 mile, that sounds very, very fast

What is Your UR setup and times/performances?

          Seen K24 setups do 12.2-12.4 1/4
It's the reduced weight of the UR that is the key factor

Obviously that weight is the key I have UR with AAN engine and URS4 also with the same engine, that's a big, big difference between performances. URquattro seems like has 30-40% more power than URS4.

It's why you dont need big bhp figures in the UR, they handle well and go well with setups 400-500 bhp.

Thats pretty much me with that set up.

done a 4.9 and a 13.5 there maybe another couple of 10ths in there with a better clutch.

but as DJones says the gear spacing is the biggest problem gears dont wind up as much as the 6sp or the 3b 5sp

I have a typ85 90Q and with a stock ABY i got a 13.9 quarter mile. im not sure on the weight difference between that and an URQ but Andy10v on here has a chipped and NOSed S2 and it only bet me by 1 second on the quarter, that shows that weight makes a big difference. Mine is now running a PRJed ECU and it is alot quicker on the road, no idea on new quarter times though.

Weight of an Urq is about 1350 kgs if I'm correct. 90 q with the standard 10V non turbo lump 1200 kgs. Actually mine is weighed at 1210 kgs with a few liters of fuel left in the tank.

                      UR is ~ 1300kg, 90 quattro is ~1275kg, I Weighed my 90q with a 10v turbo motor in and it was 1325kg.

hm, not an urq, but i know person who owns 80 b2 quattro (even ligher than urq and 90) with 2.0 16vt (K24-7000 turbo, 016 4cyl gearbox) fitted in it which produces about 350whp and 530Nm and runs 1/8mile in ET 7.8 sec @ 150km/h.
Can we call it "rs2 setup"?
I think he can do better.
