Pic request: Coupe Tank-Pump fuel Line.

does anybody have a decent picture of the fuel line that goes from the tank to the inlet of the fuel filter on a RHD 7A/3B/ABY coupe. (or LHD ABY for comparison)
Off car pic would be best but a picture taken of the underside of the car with enough detail to see the line clearly would be great.

I have sourced a LHD fuel line, and want to get an indication of if it will be remotely possible to fit it to a RHD car.

I cant use my own car for pics because it was converted from an NG engine and has the inline accumulator, which i wish to ditch and bypass using a 7A/3B/ABY line.

Buy some kupro nickel pipe, flairing kit and.you're away. I may even have enough spare to do you the correct length theb you can just bend it to fit.

If you bought the one of Jonas its designed to fit round the battery box in a RHD ABY or LHD S2 and mate up to the different fuel filter arrangement
The 3B / 7A is different mate

Here are some 7A, 3B and ABT fuel line PNs. Note the PN for the 5 m roll of OE tubing (might still be available (fingers crossed)).

It's just standard DIN plastic hose, you can buy it from any hose supplier, in fact I got mine for free as an off-cut when I converted to battery box!

So suppose to cut a long story short do you think i will be able to fit 895 201 220 P (2A) instead of parts 2 and 14?
And is part 20 (outlet hose from filter) the same for all coupes? Because this should tell me if the filter resides in the same position on all coupes.

I havent bought the part of Jonas yet, but i intend to if i can get it to fit.

James the filter arrangement is different on RHD ABYs and LHD S2s as they use the battery tray under the rear seat, right where the fuel filter bracket is on other coupes. You might be able to use the hose though as the fittings on the filter itself is the same, as are the fitting on the tank end, but the non battery tray cars the filter bracket is different and in a slightly different place to the ABY/LHD S2 (its further rearward, so the hose might be a bit too long

So as you can see it will probably fit as the actual filter location is almost the same, but the ABY / LHD S2 line is designed to fit around the battery box. I made my own hose with the same DIN hose and reusing the odd-ball fitting at the tank end and new banjo at the filter end.
