    Low Oil Pressure & Overheating

In need of some help chaps, oil pressure gauge is reading 1.1-1.5 idle once warm.
Doesnt seem to be mixing, last **** that worked on it overfilled the oil though, will be dropping that tomorrow.
Seems to hold back on WOT

Any tips on what it could be...

Coolant temp gauge gets to 2 notches over 90 then fan kicks in for a little bit, temp then goes up to 3 notches over. If i then turn the engine off pressure releases out of water bottle cap in a big way.

Parts ive bought to potentially fit unless guided otherwise:

    Thermostat
    Thermo Switch 2pin
    Temp sender 3pin
    Oil & oil filter

    Thanks in advance

Could be headgasket or waterpump blades.. Mine goes up to +88-90C if I check with vag-com. The guage reads +95-110C..
So try to check the temp in vag-com to begin with!

Forgot to mention theres a strange noise coming from engine, someone suggested it could well be the water pump impellers...

Ordered a VAG-COM kit so thats on its way to me, bought it from ebay, dont know if they are any good but we shall see

If the gauge is indeed displaying incorrectly, it would be the temperature sender I would need to change correct?

Don´t know about the noice - record a short clip on the sound.

I use a KKL409 adapter, works great for me!

Well, I changed the multitemp sender but without any difference in the instrument cluster.. I´ll rather use vag-com to see the temp.
