Coil'version

I might have f** up - I bought used coils : 06E905115 (no letter at the end)

Can I use them on my Ultimot chipped ABY (265hp) or should I go for a set of 06E905115E ?

I have the loom ready, and even a 7A cover (but still a bit confused about the venting system on the ABY cover, and no access to ALU welding equipment). Would love to have a black wrinkle finished 7A with nice red coils on top in the bay.

Thanks - is it a threaded fitting? From biltema or ..?

Still looking for help on the coils - but I guess I could just plug them in and fire up the quattro

Yes it`s threaded fitting, but if biltema has them i do not no.

About the coils, i´m afraid that i can`t help you.

I've got a feeling the letter only denotes the coil colour, I'm sure someone will confirm!

The letter denotes year,or month,latest ones are f on the end,d on earlier ones

The ones without letters must be - ahem.. kinda old, but same dimensions?

I'll try to fit them, and report back. I got 6 used for ~40euro including shipping, so its not the end of the world if they cant be used.
